Most of the time I’m talking stocks, options, portfolio updates but I wanted to include this too, because investing isn’t just charts and candlesticks.
Sometimes investing looks like… paint, drywall, city permits, and stress. 😂
And listen… real estate is NOT for everyone.
It definitely wasn’t for me.
But the only reason I know that is because I actually tried.
Most people will talk about what they think they’d like or wouldn’t like…
But they never go see for themselves.
I wanted to feel it firsthand.
The money part.
The headaches.
The “wait… why is the contractor back again?”
All of it.
So here’s a quick series of my journey into real estate.
To keep it real — I did have my dad by my side.
He’s been in real estate for 7+ years, so I had guidance.
But no matter how much someone teaches you…
Nothing hits like learning in the field.
Because whew.
There were mistakes.
There was stress.
There were things I swore I’d never do again.
There were also moments where I was like…
“Ohhhh. This is why people love this.”
Anyway — this is the story of me learning, in real time, what kind of investor I actually want to be.
Not perfect.
Not an expert.
Just documenting.
