E-trade sucks, I am going to Charles Schwab

I’ve been trying to set up my option trading account for the past month. E-trade needs to get it together…

I’ve heard their platform is great for option trading and their customer service is suppose to be good.

It’s correct that you are able to get on a call with someone pretty quicks.

Yet, when I submitted my application to level up my option account. It’s like waiting to get your passport mailed to you…

I contacted support, they told me multiple times that my applications has been submitted and processes.

So I patiently waited up to 10-days.

The tenth day came and no answer…

So I reached back out and they told me, sorry your application seems to be missing information.

WHAT?

Why did no one contact me via email or phone to let me know?

So now I have to re-submit…honestly I just went to Charles Schwab

I got approved in less than 24-hours AND got a phone call to ensure I was satisfied with the level I got approved for.

If that does not scream, “take my money” I don’t know what does.

I’ve learned that ever platform is different, but one big red flag to me is poor customer service.
